he speaks Fulani , he is from Mauritania , born in Nouakchott, where he has been a shepherd , mechanic, welder and factory worker in a Persian carpet ...

 

he traveled widely ( Niger , Mali , Burkina , Senegal , Guinea ), driving his yellow chick Renault 5, with his guitar and his stories inspired by his travels, meetings, and his nomadic childhood.  

 

In 2007, he traveled Thies - Dakar in reverse gear because the other of his car were not working ...

 

Based in Dakar , he met Youssou N'Dour, who , seduced by the richness of her repertoire , asked him to participate the creation of a new album inspired by traditional music and songs ( album " Rokku me Rokka " ) .

 

In September 2012 , it happen at La Cigale in Paris in first part of Baaba Mal . He met on this occasion the Cykadelic

 

Cykadelic ...

 

Created in 2012 by six artists from electronic and improvised music, Cykadelic connects his incantations with blues from Sahel.

 

After a first album "Sambuu" ( Cristal Records ), with the Mauritanian singer Bah Moody, a tour in France, a artistic residency with artists from Tartit group, the metis collective continues its exploration, with the Algerian singer Aicha Lebgaa .
